    1. Yorkshire is definitely the best county :) We live about 6 miles from the edge of the Moors and 50 miles from the coast or the Dales x

  5. This post brought back some lovely memories of when I stayed with a penfriend in Yorkshire. We visited Haworth railway station and enjoyed a steam train ride. My outstanding memory of that trip was when my eldest son (age 13) tried to help me with his baby brother's carry-cot and dropped the handle, tipping baby Peter out on to the cobbles! Luckily, despite the screams, he wasn't hurt, just frightened, but it was very scary at the time.
